Here’s how to get started on a desktop or laptop

1.  Download the internet browsers Google Chrome or Firefox.
2.  Go to the web address: https://app.evisit.com/ng/#/enroll/pinnaclemedicalclinic
3.  Create an account with your preferred email address and password.
4.  Fill out the patient’s personal information and answer any required medical questions.
5.  Click the teal Start Visit button to request your first virtual visit!
6.  You’ll be put into the virtual waiting room while your provider is reviewing your information.
7.  When your provider is ready to see you, a teal join button will appear at the bottom of your screen. Click on the teal Join button to start your visit!


Here’s how to get started on a mobile device:

1.  Get on your mobile device…

       a. Apple iPad or iPhone
       b. Android Tablet or Phone
       c. Microsoft Surface Pro

2.  Go to the web address from your device: https://app.evisit.com/ng/#/enroll/pinnaclemedicalclinic
3.  Create an account with your preferred email address and password.
4,  Fill out the patient’s personal information and answer any required medical questions.
5.  Click the teal Start Visit button to request your first virtual visit!
6.  Click on the pop-up that appears to download the eVisit app in your app store.
7.  When the app is fully downloaded, open it up and login with the credentials you used to create your account previously.
8.  Once you are logged in, you’ll be put into the virtual waiting room while your provider is reviewing your information.
9.  When your provider is ready to see you, a teal join button will appear at the bottom of your screen. Click on the teal Join button to start your visit!

What conditions can my doctor treat via the eVisit app?

Using the eVisit app you can get treatment for most minor medical conditions, including:  allergies, asthma, bronchitis, cold & flu, diarrhea, infections, insect bites, pink eye, rashes, skin inflammations, sore throats, sprains & strains, urinary tract infections, lab reviews, prescription refills and much more.


Will my insurance pay for my eVisit with Pinnacle Medical Clinic?  How much does it cost?

Medicare does cover eVisit services, but it varies with other insurances.  Check with your insurance company to be sure before you request insurance coverage for the visit.  If there is a denial of coverage for the visit, or if you do not have or use insurance for the visit, visits start at $29 and increase in rate as incremented by time.


How can my doctor treat me without a physical exam?

Your doctor actually doesn’t need to do a physical exam to diagnose and treat many conditions. That’s because knowing your medical history is considered “90% of the evaluation” when combined with the doctor-patient interaction. How you’re feeling can be just as important to your doctor as the results of a physical exam. Plus, being able to see you and view any picture uploads via eVisit gives your doctor the additional visual information needed to make a diagnosis.


Can my doctor prescribe medication?

Yes. If your doctor decides you need treatment, he or she will send your prescription electronically to your pharmacy so it’s ready to pick-up when you arrive.


What conditions cannot be treated via eVisit?

If you have a medical emergency, please dial 911 immediately.  eVisit can be used for urgencies, but not for emergency care.


Is my medical information secure?

Yes. The eVisit app is 100% HIPAA compliant, so any personal health information you provide is completely safe and secure.


Do I need any special equipment to use the eVisit app?

You do need a few basics: a computer or compatible mobile device (tablet or smartphone), a webcam, and a microphone. If your computer or mobile device already has an integrated camera and microphone, you shouldn’t need any extra equipment to get started.


I’m not very tech-savvy. Is eVisit still for me?

Yes! We designed the eVisit app to be very user-friendly. Imagine Skype, but with a few more bells and whistles to give you and your doctor everything you need to have a successful visit.
